710.310 PURCHASE OF HARDWARE & SOFTWARE POLICY
All purchases of hardware, software and other electronic information resources (EIR)
for the WVC district must comply with the mission, goals, and strategic outcomes stated
for the District. Furthermore, all purchases must comply with any information technology
purchasing guidelines as set by state agencies.
Approval for all purchases of hardware, software, and other EIR’s must come from the
chief technology officer or his/her designee, and must comply with selection criteria
as stated in policy 710.300.
